Advocacy can support you to have a strong voice when you need to make an important decision or are facing issues you need help with.
"Advocacy is taking action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need. Advocates and advocacy schemes work in partnership with the people they support and take their side. Advocacy promotes social inclusion, equality and social justice". (Action for Advocacy)
Our advocacy service is free, confidential and independent, however we may have to break confidentiality when you or others could be at risk. You would be notified if this happens.
Our advocates work under your instruction which means that we listen to what you want and act on your behalf at all times. We are completely independent from all other services, trusts and organisations and put you at the centre of our work.
